Atlanta Hawks 1st Round Pick in 2024
Atlanta Hawks 2nd Round Pick in 2024

New York Knicks trade:
Nickeil Alexander-Walker $3.8m (2023) RFA

We like NAW, which is why we have traded for him twice in this league. However, his acquisition left us with only $0.1m in cap space. We hope to flip the draft capital gained in this deal for a cheaper reliable veteran.

NAW is a young piece and with new talent coming in but still needing depth, the Nets decided the gamble is worth both future picks acquired from Atlanta. The resign value on NAW also will be cheap, so low risk associated with more upside here.
