Vikings went back/forth on this deal but eventually agreed to it as thy feel Harris is a do it all receiver for New Orleans and will play WR3 as well as return man for the Aints (Sorry, inner Falcon fan there). In addition, Damien Williams is not an overused back and provides depth at a key position and may cut into and surpass Mike Davis on the depth chart for Atlanta. The 5th is nice as is would provide a chance at a sleeper/flier on a player the Vikings covet or need. We hate seeing Bateman go, but the Vikings are happy with the return and opportunity to cut some cap.

Chiefs and I are solid on pick 5.5 for the deal and any votes that are coming. We discussed briefly and decided that was best and easiest course of action in the deal.
