Dodgers are offering the retirement buyout on Buster Posey   2022 ($17.5m), 2023 ($17.50m)  = $35.0m

$35.0m - 25% ( $8.75m) = $26.25m total cap hit this year.

The move clears a roster spot and saves the team almost $9m next season.
