Title: Trade: NYY/BAL 1/3/22 9:10 am ET
Post by: Yeagg on January 02, 2022, 09:26:31 PM

NYY gets:
Luis Castillo (8m, 2026)

BAL gets:
Mike Moustakas (4.5m, 2022)
Dane Dunning (P-2024)
Justin Foscue (spec)

I'm a big Castillo fan. I think he's only getting started.

Thanks Baltimore

:BAL: confirms

I think Castillo should bounce back from a bad season last year, but I would rather take a chance on some young players I like. Moustakas should help me this year at least even if I don't extend him.

Trade Approved 6-0.  Since it is the off-season, the 48 hour window will be waived because the trade is unanimously approved and there is no impact on scoring results.
