New York Knicks Trade:
Malik Beasley $8.5m (2024)
Nicolas Claxton $1.7m (2022); $3.0m (2025)
Chicago Bulls Trade:
Lauri Markkanen $10.8m (2026)
I just like Claxton better than Lauri at this point. He's really fallen hard over the last couple of years so take a shot at a guy locked up cheap for a little bit. Maybe Beasley still has some magic left but I'm not holding my breath.

We are deep at every position except PF, which goes to Lyles after Christian Wood. With Jarrett Allen and Mitchell Robinson at center eligibility only, Claxton hasn't gotten into the starting lineup. The cheap contract and good young center are great, but only if he can get in the lineup and record stats. Malik Beasley could be anything at this point, but he too is 3rd on the depth chart at PG on my team and probably 5th at SG. I like Markkanen and think he fits really well with Cleveland. He is still young and has a higher ceiling and the same low floor at this point as Beasley. This move also clears up a roster spot.
