New York Knicks make this trade because we have another player coming our way for a 2nd round pick and while McDermott should be great for the Spurs over the next few years as they need his spacing, signed him to a nice contract, and know how to get the most out of their players we will need all the cap space we can get to extend Huerter and the Mitchells (Donovan Mitchell, Mitchell Robinson). Plus I am high on Jay Scrubb, Nathan Knight, Josh Hall, Dylan Windler, and Nicolas Claxton most of whom will have to come off the G-League this year.
