Title: Oklahoma City / New York Trade
Post by: DynastyDeacon on March 25, 2021, 08:58:22 PM

Oklahoma City trades the LA Lakers 2nd round pick in 2021 to New York Knicks for Nicolas Batum $0.8M (2022).

The Knicks accept this trade as our roster is full and Malik Beasley is on the IR and his first game back from suspension is Saturday. With no other injuries a player would need to be dropped. This creates an open roster spot.

OKC confirms.

I may end up having to drop Batum or someone else later, but right now I have multiple guys likely out for at least a week. I have enough 2nd round picks to sacrifice one for Batum just in someone ends up out longer.

Edit: I am moving SGA to the IR to clear up a roster spot
