Title: Toronto/Detroit Trade
Post by: Mets Donations Accepted on January 26, 2021, 11:56:34 PM

Tigers trade:
Carter Kieboom (spec)
Bobby Bradley (spec)
Kike Hernandez $4m (2023)
Sean Reid Foley (spec)
Leody Tavares (spec)

Blue Jays trade:
Bobby Dalbec (spec)
Nick Lodolo (spec)
Austin Hays (spec)
Juan Soto (spec 2021)
Jack Flaherty (spec 2021)

I didn’t expect to move the guys I am but when an offer gets put on the table like this I have to reevaluate. My team is in a rebuild and I’m not going to get the caliber of guys in FA that I am here. I’m mortgaging long term cap but again I can’t get or win these type of guys in free agency. Toronto to confirm

That's maybe, MAYBE enough for Soto, let alone to include Flaherty, Lodolo, etc. Soto is the most valuable player in the league

No fricking way.  This is a total mess.  No way Juan Soto goes for all of those players.
