Why? Any released player signed for less than $1m will not count against the cap. Right? His contract was 900K for 2 years

Because Fantrax isn't smart enough to process that rule for us. It only knows to do a cap hit of 66% of the contract that a player had. someone with commissioner powers will need to go in and delete that cap hit on your fantrax team.
