Knicks Trade:
De'Anthony Melton $8.0M (2024)
-3.4M paid 2021 only
Jazz Trade:
Tony Bradley $3.5M (2021) RFA
:UT: 2nd round 2023
Melton has a more secure role than Bradley and gives a bit of production all around. Don't love the long term salary commitment but can work with it.

Knicks agree. We really like Melton, but with also obtaining Malik Beasley in free agency on the same day, Melton is a bit redundant. Melton is also a bit on the high side salary wise, although he certainly still has the potential to be a future fantasy stud. With the injury history of Embiid and Dwight Howard it is only a matter of time before Tony Bradley is the starting center for the 76ers. At only 22 years old he has room to improve. Per-36 numbers last year of 15.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, on .667% shooting gives me another big to complement Mitchell Robinson, Jarrett Allen, and Christian Wood.

Am I wrong or with .6 in salary and taking on 1.1 will this put Utah over the cap.

Trade is good. UT has $1.1m in cap space. This deal puts them right at cap.
