Title: Indians/A's Deal

OF Quentin, Carlos, $3.5m (2012)
for
MI Barney, Darwin, $0.5m (P-2014)
C Saltalamacchia, Jarrod, $0.5m (2012)

This deal acquires me a bat that is decent power and OBP guy, if he can stay healthy.  No one knows where will play next year, kind of looks like odd man out in CHW.  As long as he doesn't go to PETCO, I think his numbers will remain fairly consistent.  Quentin is a good scorer in this system on decent contract. 

I give up two solid, but unspectactular starters at shallow positions.  Barney hits for avg, but does very little else.  There are about 5 of those guys in the CHC system, so with Theo in town, I am trading him while he is still the starter.  Salty played real well for me last year, not sure how Lavarnway will impact role, but looks like he will at least have the same role as last year, if not more.  Both are on excellent contracts.

Good deal for both.  Chad, I appreciate it.  Please confirm.
