Boston still needs to confirm this.

First, I do realize that LAC needs to clear some cap and won't have a problem if this goes through.

But personally, I think it makes no sense for LAC to basically gave up two 1sts and more for Rose and then give him away for a 2nd round pick soon after. I would like Boston's side of the trade anyway, but the previous Rose trade (where admittedly I thought LAC overpaid for Rose) makes this look ridiculous.

The reasoning given is weak since Rose also has SG eligibility on Fantrax right now that he might retain for the season, and LAC has no 1st round picks that will need cap room cleared (I could be wrong on this last point).

I told you.
Fair and consistent. Not much to ask.

I approved the trade because I've seen Brian do this a million times. It's his team.

Part of the reason I got vetoed by some was because D Rose went for two 1sts. If Brian is setting the bar Lord help us all.

Absolutely hate to do this again, but gave it some thought and unfortunately this one is hard to justify for me. I thought it was an overpayment for Rose originally for a couple of 1st, but last few years of resurgent production, and Clippers trying to win now adding Rose made sense. Seeing him flipped shortly after just for a 2nd is just not good precedent in general (especially this being a new league).

Sorry guys but :veto:

Veto. He was just acquired in a deal for 2 1st round picks a week ago, can't approve a trade a week later sending him straight up for a 2.
