Title: Phillies and Angels make a deal...
Post by: papps on October 22, 2011, 01:41:47 PM

The Phillies and Angels make a deal.

P Dickey, R.A., $5m (2012)
C Jaso, John, $0.5m (P-2013)
MI Valbuena, Luis, $0.5m (P-2012)

for

MI Jeter, Derek, $11.5m (2013)
Angels pay 5.5m in 2012 and 5m in 2013

I do this deal to get Jeter for my MI so I can move Zobrist to the OF.  Zobrist's stats are better as an OF so it gives me a boost for my lineup.  Dickey was good for points and I didn't have much use for Jaso and Valbuena.

Thanks for the easy negotiations  :toth:  Angels to confirm.

I accept

I like Dickey and I needed a catcher and Jaso is pretty good.Fits my needs.Valbuena may get to play a little more next year and he is young.Hard to gert rid of Jeter but i have to try and strengthen my club the best way i can.
