Nats agree to this trade as I always look toward winning now. These players will help my team this year.

Barely. Feel like Harp could still go for more, but hey, Cliff sees something in a 31-year-old Nerris I guess

I’m still going to  :veto: I just don’t see it.

Even if you want to throw out age of everyone involved, or throw out the upside that Harper still possess because he’s a pending free agent, :WAS: just isn’t getting the immediate points scored to justify giving up a star.

Even if we add up the best fantasy seasons that the 3 players going that way have ever had, we get about 5,800 points. Harpers best fantasy season alone is 5,600 points.

Even if we just look at 2019 the trio of players didn’t out score Harper.
Happ 1,200
Davis 900
Neris 900

Harper 3,500

So I just don’t see it, sorry guys.

Ok I waited to see if anyone else felt the same way but I’m going to :veto: this as well. Happ whether he’s paid or not doesn’t bring the value to close the gap. I mean we’ve shot down other deals that made a lot more sense than this one sorry
