My Ducks bought out Anderson for this amount:
Josh Anderson, $4.4m (2018-2021)
I thought I could reinstate Anderson cheaper through FA. Clearly I was wrong. Too bad I didn't know so many teams wanted him or I would've trading him for players I want.

Ouch! :o I think Anderson's cap hit was 6.7m before the BO. He's only 24yo and hitting his stride in Columbus too. Sometimes you roll the dice and see what happens. At least you get some cash back. :thumbsup:

I learned alright. I certainly learned to check the available cap space of teams before FA starts AND how many pending FAs were actually going to hit the market. Didn't realize 95% of teams would have over $10 million to spend AND only 3 top end FAs were going to be in play. Lesson learned.

Anderson is well worth it compared to Lucic.
