Title: Angels roster moves
Post by: Sully31 on August 24, 2019, 01:06:55 PM

Angels make the following roster moves pending the trades with the Brewers/Reds as those trades will clear the requisite cap/roster room to make these call ups

Angels promote

SS Bo Bichette
2B Nicky Lopez
2B Tommy Edman
P Glenn Sparkman
P Taylor Clarke
P Derek Law
P AJ Puk

Angels remove the following from the 40man roster pending waivers

SS JT Riddle
P Shane Carle
P Adam Warren
P Luis Garcia

Will process this pending waivers plus reworking our trade (hopefully this will be done before games tomorrow).

With the change in the trade with Brewers the Angels now no longer call up P Taylor Clarke (don’t think I’ll have sufficient funds)

Angels also transfer Shoemaker to 60 day DL

Angels no longer demoting Riddle and Garcia as there will be roster space due to the above move/non-moves
