Giants trade:
SP DeSclafani, Anthony, $5.5m (2019) $4.0m (2021)

Orioles trade:
OF Myers, Wil, $5.5m (2021)

Giants are in need of another hitter, and in spite of the fact Wil Myers has underperformed this season, his bat seems to be heating up and he is starting to get some regular playing time with the Padres.  So, although it’s a bit risky, the Giants hope he continues his recent trend.  Anthony DeSclafani has rebounded well fro his injury plagued seasons, but the Giants have enough SPs to offset his loss.

Orioles to confirm.

Orioles accept.  A simple 1 for 1 We don't really have a need for Myers.  Desclefani gives us another SP option and frees up a little cap room over the next few years.  Thanks for the deal and good luck.
