Title: Giants/Brewers Swing Another Deal
Post by: Vik on May 17, 2019, 12:31:41 PM

Giants trade:

2B Sogard 2m 2019 (2m paid)
2B Miguel Gomez spec

Brewers Trade:

OF Travis Jones
SS Korry Howell
SS Luis Verdugo

Another deal where I get some current production to help make a run while SF gets more future specs for their rebuild. Sogard has put up solid points so far, and while I worry Jays call up some young guys to cut into his ABs he still helps give me depth and insurance for Altuve at 2B

Giants agree to trade. Moving pieces to build the farm, sad to see Sogard go, he's my only actual 2B lol, but gotta build for the future and hope one of the guys in the minors gets called up.
