Rookie Salary Adjustment:
We have passed the vote and will be reducing the salaries (cap hit) of all rookies drafted in our BOD rookie draft.
The values are starting at 25% less than real-life NBA salaries up to a max. of 40% less than NBA salaries.
Example:
Say the #1 pick in the NBA gets a $9.0m per season cap hit.
Here is what our cap hit would be instead of $9.0m with different reduced values:
25% less: $6.8m
33% less: $6.0m
40% less: $5.4m
(Instead of $9.0m)
And then say the #2 pick in the NBA gets a $8.5m per season cap hit.
Here is what our cap hit would be instead of $8.5m with different reduced values:
25% less: $6.4m
33% less: $5.7m
40% less: $5.1m
(Instead of $8.5m)
....And so on down the line for our Round 1 draft picks.
Note:
All of our BOD 2nd Round Picks will be a lower cap hit:
Picks 21-30 = $0.9m
Picks 31-40 = $0.5m

I think the 40% rule works best. FA will be crazy as lots of teams have cap space and paying a rookie 9M is too much even if he is like Zion Williamson. Putting down the cap figures for each rookie will make trading easier as well.

40%. I think later on this will really help pick values and how teams use them

40% off wins.
2019 Rookie Scale is updated and posted.
