Title: Trade: Astros/Indians 2-8-19 2:51 pm ET
Post by: Brent on February 08, 2019, 01:08:39 PM
The Astros and Indians have agreed on the following trade.  The Astros do this to land a cornerstone piece to build around with Eloy and the strong ace SPs with Cole and Gausman.  This trade does create a few holes at C, CI and MI, but I can address those through FA or trades.  Thanks for the negotiations Brian.  Indians to confirm.

C Alfaro, Jorge, $0.5m (P-2021)
CI Guzman, Ronald, $0.5m (P-2021)
MI Herrera, Rosell, $0.5m (P-2021)
MI-OF McNeil, Jeff, $0.5m (P-2021)
OF Sanchez, Jesus, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Newcomb, Sean, $0.5m (P-2021)

for

CI Bellinger, Cody, $0.5m (P-2020)

Indians agree. I wasn't planning on move him at all but Brent and I discussed what it would take and I got everything I wanted in return. I filled a lot of my positions with great young guys I like a lot.
