Title: Wild-Hurricanes Trade
Post by: halo99 on April 11, 2018, 12:02:34 AM

Carolina Trade:

Wayne Simmonds, $6.1m (2014-2018) Extended  6.6m (2018-22)

Minnesota Trades:

Jason Zucker, $3.5m (2017-2020-FP-4.6 :MIN-NHL:)

I love big Wayne but I need to get under the cap in another cost cutting move.

Wayne is a stud, but this is a cap league. Carolina went all in, had a great season and now is making its tough decisions. I see Wayne as an upgrade over Zuck, but they're both great players.

:iatp: I prefer Zucker's bigger output and lower salary cap hit.
