Title: Detroit and Anaheim make a deal
Post by: izaman3 on April 10, 2018, 09:47:56 AM

To Anaheim
Darren Raddysh, $2.0m (2017-2020)

To Detroit
Travis Hamonic, $4.3m (2016-2019)

I'd say that I lose this trade in the future, but this move is for now. I got knocked out of the playoffs too early this season and need to increase my production on the back end. Hamonic and the Flames as a whole had a down year, but I'm hoping for decent production out of this guy.

Thanks for the deal Ducks!

:ANA: confirms this trade

The Ducks do this trade to get a much younger Defenseman with a ton of potential after a excellent OHL career and a solid minor league season. I also save over $2m in cap space.

The Ducks are excited to see Hamonic finally be traded away since he was never in our plans long term.

Thanks for the deal as well Red Wings.
