:VAN: receives
LW Kirill Kaprizov, $1.6m (2016-2019)
SDP Round 1 - 2018  (from :TBL:*) this is the 12th overall pick

I asked for Sparks and that was the asking price. I'm hoping we both make out like bandits in the near future. Both Sparks and Kaprizov are talented kids. Odd how one of my team's former owners had and bought out Sparks a few years back and now I'm bringing him back into the fold.

Vancouver confirm the trade. I really like kaprizov who the wild are looking to bring over from the khl plus the supplement pick got a G in mind that put up impressive stats in the NCAA.

That would me the former :SJ: owner. Sparks was a good spec even then but I paid too much on the open market for his rights to sit around. I think it was about $5million bucks or something close so I cut bait.
