Cubs would like to extend a few guys:

SP Darvish, Yu, $10.5m (2018)
#146 in 2018, #19 in 2017, #95 in 2016
SP-19 = $9M for the max of 4 years
New contract = $10.5M (2018), $9M (2022)

MI Cozart, Zack, $3m (2018)
#18 in 2018, #8 in 2017, #47 in 2016
MI-8 = $7.5M for the minimum of 2 years
New contract =  $3m (2018), $7.5m (2020)

CI Morrison, Logan, $4m (2018)
Off the charts low in 2018 so far, #24 in 2017, #69 in 2016

SP-19 = $9M for the max of 4 years

CI-24 = $6.5m for the minimum of 2 years
New contract = $4m (2018), $6.5m (2020)

The Cozart and Morrison extensions are correct.

The Yu Darvish extension, because it is less than his current contract, can only be for two years.  Therefore, the extension would be $9.0m (2020).

Item AIX G-2.0
A player may be given an extension that is less than their current salary.  However, such an extension has three restrictions.
1) The eligibility period for granting a player an extension below their current salary is only in the last year of their contract.
2) On top of the minimum and maximum years for contracts, the longest this type of extension can be is two years.
3) New salary may be no less than 70% of previous salary.  Therefore, a player with market value of $2.5m, current one-year deal of $5m, can have an extension for two years equal to $3.5m (0.7 * 5 = 3.5).

Oops my bad! 2 years is ok with me, I'd still like to extend him.
