Title: Replacement GMs
Post by: Colby on September 17, 2009, 12:28:57 PM
I would like to fire several GMs due to inactivity.  Also, some other GMs may be leaving the game due to other reasons.  I am posting this in the RC forum because we are the most involved GMs.  I would like to see if we can find the replacements ourselves instead of random advertisements and postings.  The GM positions that may be in flux are the following.

QUITTING
Rangers - the 2nd GM of the Rangers has decided the game is too much for him and has bowed out for the year

INACTIVE - HAVE NOT HEARD FROM AT ALL
Blue Jays
Braves
Cardinals
Cubs
Giants
Rays
Reds

INACTIVE - HEARD FROM
Mets - have not heard from in regards to this game, may be over his head with other things to do
White Sox - said he would look at it, but like the Mariners GM, haven't seen him do a thing

BARELY ACTIVE
Mariners - over cap* - have heard from, but haven't seem him do a thing
Rockies - was slightly involved, had his team in the race a bit
Royals - over cap* - said he would try it this year, but doubted he would have the time for such an advanced game
Tigers - did make a couple moves

I would like to fill the vacant positions in order from the top category to the bottom category.  The last 4-6 GMs listed here may still be playing, but I need to hear from them to determine their status in the league.

Mariners GM is my best friend.  I'll talk with him, see where he is at concerning the league.

Jimy has responded to a previous inquiry of mine, so it isn't that he would be kicked out, but he appears to be one of the least active as he made no moves and posted no questions.

COMMENTS
I have a new GM coming in who was going to take the Rays, but with Mike back in the drivers seat for that franchise, the new GM will choose another franchise.  The A's manager decided he was too busy to be involved.  I have never heard a thing from the GMs of the Jays, Braves, Cards, Cubs, Giants, and Reds.  Therefore, since I don't know them, and don't have any previous activity to base them on, I am declaring that they have been fired by their clubs.  If the GMs want to play still, they will have to wait in line and show they can play in this game.
