C Swihart, Blake, $0.5m (P-2018)
SP-RP Hader, Josh, $0.5m (P-2020)

for

:PHI: Receives:
SP Wacha, Michael, $4m (2021)
SP Eshelman, Thomas, $0.5m (P-n/a)

:STL: makes this trade to acquire some upside.  Both Swihart and Hader have a ton of risk, but also more upside than I send out.  Eshelman has been great and Wacha is a solid option, but the upside of Swihart and Hader was too much for me to turn down.  Good luck :PHI:!

Philly agrees. I hate giving up Hader but Wacha is a solid starter on a decent contract. Eshelman has a chance to compete for a spot in the rotation as well.
