Shipping a promising young goalie in Bibeau, hard hitting Lowry and stay at home D for for a package of guys I had my eye on. Leo and Nick have expiring contracts but I think we'll find a way to resign them this off-season. Thanks for the trade talks Godzilla!

:iatp: We're looking to build while competing. Lowry is 24yo and a player I've liked since his days in the WHL. But the best player in this deal will be Bibeau who has been flying under the radar and the main reason I initiated this trade. Thanks Habs guy! :toast:

Good pieces going both ways, time will tell how Bibeau and finally Skinner shape out, but Skinner seems more than a bit farther away than Bibeau.

:iatp: That Bibeau kid might get a shot in a couple of yrs with the Sharks. He was probably better off developing in the Leafs minor league system. Personally like Skinner because I drafted him when I was the owner of LAK.

I will give the edge to Los Angeles given they are acquiring three assets that are of use immediately while Montreal receives two plus a goaltending prospect that is at best 3-5 years away from making any type of impact in FNHL as a player or trade appreciating asset (Bibeau was drafted 4 years earlier than Skinner).
