Title: Cubs - Royals Trade 2-9-18 2:16 pm ET
Post by: jpmanchester on February 09, 2018, 01:15:45 PM

Royals trade:
SP Anderson, Tyler, $0.5m (P-2019)

Cubs trade:
SP Kilome, Franklyn, $0.5m (P-n/a)
MI Hall, Adam, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Cubs accept. Kilome is one of my favorite upside pitchers and Hall looks like he'll be a solid MI bat. But I'm going to take the rare bet on a Rockies SP and hope Anderson can rebound to something close to his 2016 numbers. I think two cheap years to see what he's got is worth the price. Thanks for the smooth negotiations.

Royals confirm.  Flipping Anderson for younger assets that I think could help me down the line.

Thanks and good luck.

:iatp: Anderson is solid albeit at Coors and the prospects line up with the value.
