Title: Cubs - Padres Trade 1-26-18 1:00 am ET

Cubs trade:
CI Solarte, Yanervis $4m(2019)
SP Anriese, Matt $0.5m (P-2018)

Padres trade:
CI Asuaje, Carlos, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Cubs accept. I'm a little nervous Solarte is going to tear it up again moving out of Petco park, but I think Asuaje's job is more a sure thing at this point. At least to start the season. And I just need someone to hold me over til Pedroia's back. Not sure what he is long term but I am adding in a cheap cost controlled SP to help offset the contract and any future upside. Thanks for the easy negotiation Padres.
