Astros Trade
Wil Myers $4.5m (6th)
Chi Chi Gonzalez $537k (4th)
Arquimedes Gamboa
Brewers Trade
Brandon Woodruff
Edwin Rios
$2m international money in 2018
I have Bellinger at 1st base so Myers was sort of expendable for my team. Myers has always been an enigma for me. I once traded Acuna a couple years ago to get Myers and though I might not have won the Workd Series last year without him, he never lived up to my expectations. I like Woodruff and hopefully Rios is legit. International money is always good to have. Thanks to Brewers for negotiations.

Accept. Woodruff is intriguing and think he takes a step forward and Rios looks promising too. I wasn't particularly looking to move either, but explored a few different options with Houston and ultimately I like the return with Myers as center piece. The big downside dealing for Myers and Segura pretty much simultaneously is the amount of money they will cost me, but given that I took over with plenty of cap I think both are still worth it. Gonzalez/Gambo are nothing special just a couple of of other guys I like and hoping Gonzalez can find a way to stick around next time he gets a chance given that Texas is lacking pitching.
