Title: Giants/Brewers Trade
Post by: Vik on January 24, 2018, 11:10:19 PM

Brewers send:

Mark Zagunis
Austin Brice
Garrett Cooper
Tyler Glasnow
Tyler Beede $440,000

Giants send:

Shelby Miller $4,700,000
Jesus Aguilar $440,000
Willy Garcia
Austin Slater $440,000
Gavin LaValley
A.J. Puckett

Brewers are in business. Moving Glasnow isn't easy as I think he will figure things out and could become a legit ace. However, I love the overall return with several guys I am fan of. Slater/Lavalley are 2 bats I think have a really bright future and hoping, even with the Giants bringing in Cutch, that Slater will get regular playing time this year. Aguillar/Cooper seems pretty even but still prefer Aguillar. Puckett/Beede is a similar situation where I prefer Puckett. Finally, Miller is a gamble but if he can stay healthy he should find a spot in the rotation and hopefully have a nice year.

Giants agree . this was a swap of young players on both teams. I moved a tone of players in return for some pitching I like that I can build my pitching staff around and I add some position players I think can help my team know.
