You already have 5 open bids.  This marks the 3rd time you have exceeded the bid limit rule—therefore, you cannot bid on this player anymore.  At some point, there are consequences for continually disregarding the rules. 

This is supposed to be a low-key, no drama league, but this practice cannot be ignored.
