Ottawa agrees to this trade with the LA Kings. Adding more spec goaltenders and clearing some cap space was a key piece to this deal. DeMelo has talent and potential to play a regular top 4 role in the NHL. I think Soderberg is undervalued on a rebuilding Avs team. Good dealing with you Godzilla.

I will give the Edge to Los Angeles but given Ottawa will be gaining cap space from the pending Garbutt Free Agent signing, this trade balances out in the long-run.
