Title: Kings and Bruins deal Dmen and Picks
Post by: Godzilla on December 17, 2017, 12:46:47 PM
:BOS-NHL: Bruins get:
Round 2 - 2018 :LAK:
Michael Stone, $2.1m (2017-2020)
Plus Boston will sign Jori Lehtera to a FA contract for 3yrs at $1.5m instead of 2yrs at $1.4m (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=315501.0)

:LAK: Kings get:
Round 3 - 2018 :BOS-NHL:
Dennis Seidenberg, $2.0m (2015-2018)

Kings trade a younger D Stone 27yo for a veteran D Seidenberg 36yo as well as a higher draft pick to reduce the cap hit on Lehtera's buyout. Boston to confirm. Thanks Jack Daniels.

Bs agree. Jori is a good pickup if he regains his scoring touch. We're upgrading our 3rd to a 2nd and getting a significantly younger D as well. GL with your new player Godzilla! :toast:

Excellent use of draft picks and youth by Los Angeles to create cap space. Both teams come out ahead for different reasons so this is a draw.
