Title: Trade: Astros / Brewers
Post by: chrisetc21 on October 29, 2017, 05:52:05 PM

Astros Trade
Yuli Gurriel $2.75m (2019)
Tyler Glasnow $440k (2nd)

Brewers Trade
2018 2nd and 3rd round picks
2019 1st and 2nd round picks
$1m in international money for 2018

Astros have Devers ready to play 3rd base so we've been looking to move Gurriel.  Glasnow is incredibly talented but Astros have lost patience waiting for him and wanted to clear his roster spot.  Thanks to Brewers for good negotiations.

Stros are building a dynasty but the trade is fair. ATL approves

My thoughts on this deal, as I just joined the league and have holes on the major league level and a weak farm system, a controllable Gurriel will help a definite upgrade for me at either corner. If Glasnow ever puts it together he can be dominate ( he was other worldly at triple A after being sent down). I also like that this deal doesn't hurt me cap wise.
thanks,
Don
