Title: Vegas & Ottawa trade
Post by: LIVE DynastySports on October 28, 2017, 12:05:35 PM

Vegas will send:
Toronto's 1st rd supplemental pick
Riley Sheahan, $1.4m (2017-2019)

Senators will send:
LW Jacob De La Rose, $0.9m (2015-2018-EL)

Vegas has a bit of a crush on JDL even though he and his team are off to a slow start. Hopefully he becomes a steady contributer to our team for the long term.

Ottawa to confirm.

Pending Sens confirmation.
:iatp::thumbsup::thumbsup: De La Rose has been a leader at every level so this is a smart pickup for Vegas IMO. The pick and Riley aren't all that bad for the Sens.

Ottawa agrees to this trade with the #1 Pacific team, Vegas Golden Knights. I like the SDP and Riley is a good a depth fwd at this stage in his career as Jacob. Good dealing with you Daddy. :toast:

The edge goes to Vegas for unloading a liability with a bigger contract they could not Buy-Out for a smaller contract they extended and further reduced the impact on cap. Good trade.
