Carolina confirms:

I'm not sure why my friend Ant Man in Colorado is wanting to trade Ehlers but I'm more than happy to make this trade. Carolina gets a young player who scored 25 goals last year on a good contract. Colorado gets a boat load of potential which will help in what I'm assuming is a rebuild. It's usually against my philosophy to trade picks but I couldn't pass up this deal.

Dylan Strome may or may not live up to his potential. I'm more than happy to make this trade even if it mortgages the future.

It's a big deal and I'm not sure which side I'd rather have but Ehlers is a stud. I'm still uncertain about Strome

Approved.

Good deal. My pref is for what the Canes are getting. The package going to the Avs is a mixed bag of stuff to use in future trades the way I see.

:iatp: I think Colorado is trying to get every player in the league, for a least a day.  :o
