Title: Do we have a Rule V draft?

I was wondering if we had anything like a Rule V draft? I couldn't find it in the rules.

We don't currently, but if you had anything in mind feel free to propose it. 

In MLB, the Rule V Draft is for players that meet a certain criteria and are not protected on the 40 man roster, but in FGM all owned players are either on the 40 man roster or the EDR, so I'm not sure what rules we'd want to define for the players that are Rule V eligible (and note that given the purpose of the EDR, I don't think making those protected players vulnerable to a Rule V Draft would be a positive addition).

We don't have a giant farm and run off of a 40-man roster (with a small exclusive farm for the EDR), so the Rule 5 draft is not necessary as Ben pointed out.  Regardless, it was a great point for you to bring up Todd as we are trying to emulate the game as much as possible.
