Title: Arizona-Carolina Trade
Post by: halo99 on September 09, 2017, 02:13:27 AM
Traded to the Coyotes:
Laurent Brossoit, $4.3m (2017-2020)
Round 1 - 2017  (from :SJ:*)

Traded to the Hurricanes:
Cory Schneider, $9.1m (2015-2020)

I felt we needed to add another starting goalie to have a legit shot in the metro. Thus We mortgage some of the future in the hopes that Schneider bounces back from his awful season last year.

Arizona gets the fourth overall pick and a good young goalie with a promising future to help with the rebuild.

Thanks Blk for the smooth trade talks.

Approve pending confirmation by Arizona

Awful season or not Schneider is a true #1 and top value in FNHL.

When i was presented with this trade i really didnt give it too much thought. Young goalie with a solid save percentage and the 4th overall. Sold. Never been much of a fan of Schneider he is a true #1 in NJ because well they don't have a better goalie right now. I planed playing him for a season hoping for a rebound then trade him off. That oppertunity came early zona also saves 5 more million in cap to add to the 6 in cap to compete for another goalie next week. Thanks for the easy deal Halo

Coyotes must really believe in Laurent Brossoit to deal their starting Goalie in Cory Schneider. Canes get stronger immediately.
