Detroit makes this move to upgrade in the draft. It cost me a stud D prospect who may make the jump this year,  but I upgrade two of my picks. It's a fair price to pay even if it's hard to give up Chabot, maybe I'll just have to replace him in the draft...

Owner of Ottawa agrees to complete this trade with the owner of the Detroit Red Wings. Didn't think I would move my 1st rounder because there are several prospects I feel will be difference makers but this felt like the right decision for our franchise. Thanks Izaman!

Detroit is looking to own the top 10 of this year's entry draft and he will success with this deal. I think it is a good trade for both teams.
