Title: Cardinals Extension - STL GM Please Read
Post by: RyanJames5 on August 25, 2017, 08:53:07 AM

The Cardinals will be extending Clayton Kershaw to the following extension...

2016                 2017                Best Rank       Ext. Amt       New Contract
1799.83(20th)   1570.36(9th)      9th                11.5             12(2022)

70% rule comes in at 11.9M, so I assume it must be rounded up.

Thanks!

It is rounded up, but is only a two year extension.

$12.0m (2019)
