TB trades:
OF Carlos Beltran 3M (2017)
x-$2.5M cash exchange

STL trades:
OF Jose Adolis Garcia (P-n/a)

Tampa agrees to this deal to strengthen my prospect pool.  I really liked Garcia and missed out on him in FA.  Beltran is a free agent to be so Garcia fits me long term as Tampa is not competing this season.  Thanks Ryan for the easy negotiation.

STL confirms.

Cardinals trying to gain a little bit of depth for the rest of the year.  Hate to see Garcia go, but the MLB Cardinals have so much depth, that I'm not sure when Garcia will ever get a shot.  Thanks Tampa!
