Camargo has been great this season and has all 6 years control left but I'm not a big believer he can keep hitting over .300 for the Braves.
Jimenez and Pelfrey are two pretty bad starters but they are better than nothing and hopefully can provide some innings and points down the stretch as rental players.
I'm also happy to swap the years of control of Boshers for the short term improvement in the rental Swarzak.
Basically just making low cost low reward moves to move the needle a little more towards competing this year.
Thanks to Mets as always for good negotiations

The contracts are nearly up on several of my living legends. The Mets acquire a promising young player in return as part of the compensation. Camargo plays several positions and his versatility may earn him regular playing time going forward. Buddy Boshers offers some strikeouts and Carl Crawford may just unretire.
