Title: Trade: Astros / Mets
Post by: chrisetc21 on July 24, 2017, 09:01:54 PM

Astros Trade
Steven Wright $1m (3rd)

Mets Trade
C.C. Sabathia $3m (2017) salary paid

Astros looking to rent Sabathia for a playoff run.  Wright was one of my top pitchers last year but this is a win now move.  Thanks to the Mets.

With Sabathia's contract up at the end of the year I'm glad to acquire the veteran knuckleballer Wright. I'm hoping he returns to form. If he develops a screwball he will be unstoppable. Thanks, again to the Astros.
