Title: Trade: Astros / Padres
Post by: chrisetc21 on July 20, 2017, 10:41:50 AM

Astros Trade
Jose Torres $400k (1st)
2017 :CLE2: 4th rounder
2017 :CLE2: 5th rounder

Padres Trade
Ervin Santana $8m (2017) half salary paid

Astros make the trade to get some pitching.  Even though Santana's peripherals are pretty poor I'm hoping he'll have a strong finish.  Thanks to Padres.

Padres confirm.

Trying to build from within, and all the help in draft picks can only help.

Best of luck to the Astros!
