Title: Trade: Astros / Tigers
Post by: chrisetc21 on July 18, 2017, 10:32:24 PM

Astros Trade
2017 4th rounder
2017 5th rounder

Tigers Trade
Adrian Beltre $8m (2017) salary covered
Yusmeiro Petit $1.5m (2018)

Astros make the trade to create a little depth in the event of injury.  Thanks to Tigers for negotiation.

Tigers confirm.

We're going nowhere this season and Beltre will not be resigned. Might as well get something for him. Petit's been a nice surprise but he's not worth holding up a deal over.

Thanks to the Astros.

If anyone else wants to pick the Tigers' bones, see the trade block and let me know.
