Title: yanks extend phil hughes

the yanks have announced that we BELIEVE in phil hughes as his last start was called unhittable lol
the extension is based on his last year rating at the #84 SP
so the deal will be 2.5 mil (2014) because his current contract runs through 2012

He cannot make less than 3.5 mil which is his current deal that goes through 2012. Any performance based discounts can only be given in the final year of a contract. If he still sucks next year, then you can resign him for a lesser $$$ contract, but right now 3.5 mil is his floor.
