Title: Penguins and Red Wings Strike a Deal!
Post by: jackdaniels on August 23, 2011, 12:55:40 PM

Traded to Pens
(Centre) Darren Helm, $0.9m (2011-2012)
(Defence) Brad Stuart, $3.8m (2011-2012)
Det Round 2 - 2011

Traded to Wings
(Left Wing) Raffi Torres, $0.8m (2011-2012)
(Left Wing) Ryan Smyth, $4.0m (2013-2014)

For trade committee to review. We struck this deal as I was shopping my LW around and Detroit was in the market for LW.

So it was a no brainer to work and rework until we came to an agreement. Torres and veteran Symth are reliable players consistently scoring above 100 points. I was interested in a Centre and Helm replaces some of those departed points I moved while Stuart was dealt to allow Detroit to absorb Symth's salary, while the second round pick was to square us up.

:toast: Thanks for the easy negotiations Fantasy Nightmares.
