Title: Colorado / NY Mets Trade
Post by: ldsjayhawk on June 16, 2017, 04:51:23 AM

Rockies trade:
Melky Cabrera
Devon Travis

to NY Mets for

Derek Dietrich
Jonathan Villar
Braden Webb
Kyle Farmer

We're looking to improve depth up the middle with so many injuries.  Also, adding a couple of prospects to the system.

Mets to confirm

The Mets get a much needed left fielder and can now field a starting line-up. Getting an infielder back helps offset the losses. Manageable contracts and veteran experience make this deal worthwhile.
