Just want to make sure you know that starting in 2017-18, as of August 15, 2017, MiLR players can stay in the minors until the play 82 games and teams can use them in their active roster as long as there's an available roster spot. Will same you $$ and burning a yr of MiLR eligibility.
If you are aware of this rule change for 2017-18 and still want to make this move, please confirm.

Thanks for the clarification. I'll just leave Schmaltz in MiLR until the change goes into effect next season.

Can do. IMO your Jets get way more value by keeping him in the MiLR and you save cap. :toast: :judge:
